Finsole orthotics are made by a physiotherapist specialised in podiatrics. The need for an orthotic is determined in a lower extremity examination. The orthotic is individually manufactured to fit the client’s foot, which guarantees that it functions well and feels comfortable.

With orthotics we can

  • correct poor foot alignment and the foot’s functioning
  • balance the lower extremity and the whole body
  • improve the foot’s mobility
  • decrease stress and pain and fatigue.

Finsole orthotics are made of five separate components. The undermost component is the wedge, and extra lifting can be added if needed. The top component is the surface material, for which there are three alternative materials available. In-between is the framework, which is placed between supportive fabrics. During the moulding process, the framework component is heated so that the foot’s shape is imprinted on the orthotic.
